Meet the Makers

We’re Melaine and Hailey, the mother daughter team behind Rose & Rae.

Creativity runs in our family. My mom, Soyla, could make anything, grow anything, and turn the simplest materials into something beautiful. She passed that creative spirit to me, along with a deep connection to nature and the grounding rituals that inspire everything we make today.

I was named Melaine Rose  “black rose”  a symbol of strength, beauty, and earth. Hailey Rae, comes from “sun rays,” representing light, warmth, and new beginnings. Together, Rose & Rae reflect who we are: rooted and grounded, yet full of hope and brightness.

This business began with small experiments at home and a lot of heart. And when it was time to take the leap, Hailey made the very first investment,  believing in this dream before it even had a name.

Much of our inspiration comes from our travels, where we reconnect with the earth, explore new scents, and find moments of calm that shape our products.

Today, we craft each piece by hand, in small batches, with intention  from goat’s milk soaps to soy candles and bath soaks. Everything we create is meant to bring a little comfort, warmth, and beauty into your day.
